Job Description: We are seeking a detail oriented professional systems engineer with exceptional communications skills and the ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment. The candidate should have a proven record of managing a diverse workload and applying outstanding analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently and beyond clients’ expectations. Candidate will provide both onsite and in-house/remote technical support.

  • Knowledge of messaging technology
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server applications
  • Ability to travel locally to a diverse group of client environments

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Windows server support experience (Certifications Preferred)
  • Data backup and restore experience
  • Networking protocols and applications (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, DNS)
  • E-mail functionality, both at workstation and server levels
  • Server Hardware configuration and troubleshooting abilities
  • Desktop OS and application support, including Microsoft Office and a wide range of third party applications
  • Malware/Virus troubleshooting
  • Hyper-V and VMware virtualization support experience
  • Office 365 and Azure experience

 

Additional desired skills:

  • Project Management
  • Kaseya Monitoring Software
  • ConnectWise PSA
  • Smartphone setup and configuration experience
  • WatchGuard/SonicWall experience
  • Egnyte experience
  • Excellent dart throwing and/or Nerf prowess
