Since the founding of our company more than 20 years ago, SolutionWorx has always maintained a culture of serving others. Whether through our own actions as individuals or shared as a team, we strive to be good servants to our communities. Over the years we have held events, sponsored events, and volunteered countless hours in our community and churches.
We feel that we have a responsibility to our environment. Collectively, with our clients and partners we are significant consumers of technology. Consequently we produce a tremendous amount of eWaste. As a service to all of our clients we ensure that their eWaste is responsibly disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. In partnership with Forever Green Recycling we recycle all types of electronic waste so that this, often toxic waste, does not end up dumped in places that could harm our environment. Additionally, we have held Community Technology Recycling and Shred events so that others may have access to responsibly removing their waste.
SolutionWorx maintains 10% to 15% of our client-base in non-profits. We feel that these organizations can better achieve their missions if they are able to have best-in-class IT environments and technical support. As a result, we donate 100% of our support labor hours to these organizations. Some of the organizations that we serve are:
- Floris United Methodist Church
- Galilee United Methodist Congregation
- Leesburg United Methodist Church
- Loudoun Interfaith Relief
- Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers
- Metro DC Synod of ELCA
- Providence Academy
In the spirit of giving and sharing, SolutionWorx loves to engage in organizations that are helping to serve others. We look for opportunities to further the mission of other individuals and organizations as they find creative ways to serve others. Recently, we feel grateful to have had the opportunity to sponsor the following events:
Sponsored by the Town of Leesburg Department of Parks and Recreation. Freeze your Gizzard is one of Loudoun County’s premier events attracting over 1,000 runners and spectators and benefits one of our clients, Loudoun Interfaith Relief.
Founded in the spirit of celebration and hope, The Well Run Race honors the well-lived life of Chris Dove. The event benefits Young Life, Fauquier County and Community Touch, Inc.
